What & why

An off-net cache, run by people you can email.

SFMIX runs caches for the big content sources at our exchange. Local eyeball ISPs peer with AS40271 and pull popular traffic — Google, Apple, Microsoft, Steam, Netskrt — directly off the cache, not from your transit provider.

Cheaper than transit Cacheable traffic stops counting against your 95th-percentile bill.
Better for users Lower latency, fewer hops, fatter pipes for big downloads.
Flat rate, no surprises $300/mo per 10 Gbps of capacity. Funds cover the router hardware, cross-connects, and power — we're a cooperative, not a profit center. Combinable up to Terrabit scale.
